Our client is Group of companies made up of 22 different brands all in the same sector and have combined through mergers and acquisition. As a group, they are the largest of their kind in the South of England with 180 different stores.
Through Private Equity investment, the Group are in the middle of a major Transformation programme to streamline the business and get all the brands to integrate better. There is a technology roadmap in place to deliver against. This includes the completion on of their “one platform” programme which is migrating all areas of the business onto a centralised Azure infrastructure, they are rolling out Kerridge to all sites and then BI and Data improvement including Integrating key systems.
To assist with the delivery of projects we are recruiting for an interim head of delivery or delivery consultant. This person will be the IT Director’s 2nd in command overseeing core projects across Infrastructure, Business Systems and Data/BI/Reporting.
The role will sit above the delivery leads but putting in place robust plans, governance and delivery structure to help the leads deliver and hold them to account and raise programme standards across the group. Some of the team is more effective than others and it is making sure they are on the right path, supported and pushed when required.
This is not as thorough as RAID logs, but there needs to be detail around the status of all projects, robust designs in place, timeframes, dependencies and risks, impact assessment, good governance and quality controls.
Experience:

Worked for larger companies where there is good governance, quality controls and processes for delivering projects that can be brough to this client and implemented

Excellent project planning, verifying design of projects and managing up to stakeholders and down to the teams.

Able to mentor and hold teams to account, guide, appropriately push for delivery timescales and raise project standards

Has Delivery experience across Infrastructure, Business Systems, BI & Data

Will be A Head of Delivery or even and IT Director with broad experience that can drive delivery of projects.

Able to work remote but also to travel to sites 2-4 time per month to High Wycombe, Eastbourne and Southeast broadly.
