Our client is a prominent, internationally renowned organisation committed to a 5yr Transformation and IT renewables Programme of work. This includes simplifying over 400 applications, migrating from on-prem to Azure, making Data an asset including visualisation, Integration of systems, Infrastructure projects, CRM and so on.

Working in the Strategic and Design team, this role is key to setting up an Enterprise Architecture practice where none currently exists. They are seeking to centralise the design of all projects and creating a technical design authority, providing governance and structure.

This is a true Enterprise Architect role working closely with the business to align strategic goals with technology outcomes. You will have a helicopter view on all systems and provide guidance on what technology best suits their estate and oversee the design of all technology solutions.

Key Experience required:

  • A True Enterprise Architect that understands IDAM (identity access management), Integration strategy, data strategy, network topologies

  • Ability to create roadmaps and “to be” architectures

  • Who can work at a strategic and operational level

  • Good with stakeholders – need to win hearts and minds for a new function and sell the benefits of an Enterprise Architecture framework

  • Broad Business Application and Infrastructure experience required

  • Knowledge of CRM preferred

  • Digital Transformation experience preferred

  • Ideally a mixture of Public and Private Sector experience.

The organisation is based in Lancaster and will require on average 2 days per week on site.
