Our client is a Consultancy overseeing their end clients migration from HR Core to Dayforce and require a Test Manager for a May start through to Jan 2027.
The role is remote based and the client HQ is in the UK, but they will support the roll out into Europe (DE, CH, NL, PRT, FR, IT and ES). Their team is 10, client in countries will have several maybe up to 5 each. Testing required will be System config and Functional. Test Management and coordination is key although some hands on testing ability will be useful (not essential). Testing is broadly manual with some automation. Likely to be integration too into Payroll systems either via automated reports or API.
What we would expect from a Test manager:
1. Leading the testers (Consultancy and client) and being proactive in setting expectations and meetings with them
2. Working with the project manager on an integrated approach and setting clear expectations about who (roles) and what is needed and by when
3. Being clear with Dayforce on how testing should be managed and ensuring they follow that requirement
4. Understanding the urgency of things and respond accordingly
5. Understanding how to take customers on a journey where they have no experience with UAT – through informative decks and materials
6. Being a confident and vocal leader in meetings and having any documents or other items ready to share/ show
7. Managing UAT check ins and ensuring everyone knows what needs to happen when
We need someone to be able to confidently manage a team of testers and be very clear on requirements.
