Our client is an international business and the largest of its kind in Europe operating across 20 countries. Their Digital Team deliver a number of products including Group wide, In-Country and specific business websites and portals and various Apps for their internal users and vast customer base.

As an example of current project work, they have a new Product that is a “one Stop Shop” Portal for customers that enables them to manage all interactions with single sign on. This includes a booking system for appointments, ecommerce for a range of products, payment systems and so on. It has so far been rolled out to customers in Sweden and they now need a UK and other country version. In Sweden, it is a simpler product with 1 main payment option but in the UK, the solution will be more complex with various payment systems including Apple, Google, PayPal and potentially others.  The Authentication, password settings will also be more complex, so we need 2 x UX Designers to work on the workflows for all of these features, taking what is good about the existing Swedish App and researching and adapting to the UK market.

Practical Design & Research Skills:

  • Creating user-centred designs that take business requirements, market analysis, customer feedback and system metrics into account

  • Experience in planning, facilitating and analysing UX research techniques (such as usability testing, stakeholder interviews and card sorting)

  • The ability to quickly bring ideas to life through sketching, wireframing journey maps, or storyboards

  • The ability to create rapid interactive prototypes to be used to share your ideas with your team, stakeholders and test with users

  • Experience in planning and facilitating workshops to set direction and gather project requirements

  • Comfortable presenting research findings and speaking through your design decisions in a compelling way

  • Expertise in usability testing both for uncovering user problems and to hone your solutions

  • The ability to understand people’s needs, behaviours and motivations, and knack for solving for their problems

  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills having worked within a multi-disciplinary team and with stakeholders to define and shape the direction of projects undertaken

Experience:

  • Designing both native mobile apps and for the web

  • Be a confident user of Axure, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Illustrator / XD)

  • UI skills are desirable to help on signposting, but this is a UX role.

Exciting dynamic company and great team to work with. This can be delivered remotely for 4 days per week but must be able to get to Bristol Area for 1 day per week.
