Our client is a relatively new and fast-growing Fund Management company with a footprint offshore and in The UK. They have just implemented their core Fund Management system and now need a Senior Project Manager to manage client onboarding and other projects.

You will be working with the Product/System Owner and MD from the business to meet with prospective clients to pitch for business and then managing the entire onboarding process of that client. Your role in this, once you have an understanding of how they work, is to talk through how the onboarding process will work and manage it end to end. This will require senior stakeholder management with the client, requirements capture in terms of the data that needs to be migrated, migrating data, working with the Vendor and their resources to deliver the technical requirements, manage reporting requirements, planning and tracking projects, governance and so on. This will be end to end project lifecycles into BAU and then other discreet projects helping to evolve the product for clients and making processes more efficient. Typical lifecycles for onboarding are 6 months and a recent client example has been 115 entities that make up the overall business and just 1 of those entities required 800,000 transactions to be moved over.

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a Finance/Accounting background. This is particularly useful because the data that is being migrated is accounting/financial data. Fund Management and or Private Equity would be extremely useful but not essential. Project Managing large data migration projects is essential. Again, ideally in Accounting, Private Equity or Fund Administration but any Data Migration projects, and an Accountancy Finance background is what we are looking for.

This will be based in Hampshire but client facing in London and elsewhere and some travel to clients to offshore offices including Luxembourg and The Channel Islands (when safe to do so).
