I’m working with a cloud adoption and optimisation specialist, focused on delivering tailored outcomes for their enterprise-scale clients, currently operating across the Financial, Pharmaceutical and Legal sectors. Their service is designed to build internal confidence and to leave clients fully capable of managing their own cloud environment moving-forward. The company has doubled in size over the past two years, and continued success means they are now looking for a Cloud Architect. The aim of this role is to lead the most complex and challenging multi-cloud opportunities. The role will develop key relationships with their clients operating at CxO level, all the way through to engineer level to establish themselves as trusted advisors in managing their clients’ journey into the cloud. The Cloud Architect will work with account teams, delivery leads, and Sales teams to evangelise, educate & identify clients that could benefit from their offerings.

Ideally, this person will have a combination of high-level architecture skills built upon a foundation of deep engineering experience.

  • Cloud Adoption and Modernisation across the three primary hyperscalers (AWS, Azure & GCP)

  • CCoE & Cloud Operating Models

  • Application architecture & performance tuning – load balancing, auto-scaling, web Servers & database Servers

  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code management using Terraform or similar tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible

  • CI/CD toolchains (such as Azure Devops, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)

  • Competent with coding and Scripting: PowerShell and Python

  • Cloud certified architect to professional level

  • Experience with API design and service integration

  • Demonstrable experience with private cloud deployments

  • Configuration, migration/modernisation and deployment experience

Up to £100k base salary (plus 15% bonus), medical insurance, life insurance (4 x base)
